PEGA TECHNICAL ARCHITECT (#045021E)

Position Description:

Will prepare Technical Design document, High/Low level design document, system architecture/overview etc. Design, implement and deliver software applications using Pega PRPC BPM tool, Java/J2EE, XML etc. Design and implement access/role-based security to meet business requirements using Pega PRPC. Perform design, code, performance reviews based on best practices, org standards etc. Design user interface using various Pega PRPC sections, flows, flow actions, assignments, declarative/decision rules, reports. Design and deliver Prototypes, Proof of concept demonstrating the latest OOTB solutions. Perform system debugging, analysis, tracing and optimize the system for better performance and stability. Mentor teams and conduct user trainings in Pega PRPC, Java and J2EE Technologies. Work on Requirement Analysis, Design, Scoping and Implementation of PRPC in Scrum, Agile and Pega BPM Methodologies. Implement PRPC application design and development using direct capture of objectives, application profile, ECS (Enterprise Class Structure). Directly interact with the business users, product owners, conduct DCO sessions, to get their feedback, ideas to improve the application more robust and intuitive. Implement several integrations like SOAP, HTTP, JMS, MQ AND REST, FTP and Content Management systems JFrog, Nexus, Documentum etc. Integrate with external applications and systems using Pega connectors and services. work on Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and other various database technologies to design the data model, execute queries, procedures etc. Triage issues and deploy code on various servers like WebSphere, WebLogic and Tomcat. Support /Guide teams in Creation of re-usable assets, frameworks, solution packs. Configure automated agents, listeners to process user requests, send correspondence and manage workflow. work on Pega tools upgrade, Indexing, Archiving & Purging, Session management, Customized logging etc. Analyze and work towards resolution of Pega Alerts, Action items using AES (Autonomic Event Services)/Predictive Diagnostic Cloud. Position requires up to 30% domestic travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related field along with five (5) years of experience as a Pega Technical Architect including experience in Situation Layer Cake concepts, ECS and Legacy Application modernization to Pega PRPC.
